In honour of the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, Arrive Alive curated a truly meaningful Walk and Ride event on November 19th, 2023, advocating for safer road systems and offering support to the loved ones affected by road incidents.

The event infused an active spirit into the commemorations, as cyclists from across Trinidad gathered, pedaling from various starting points to converge in the scenic Queen’s Park Savannah. Moreover, in a compassionate gesture, the organization extended an invitation to the loved ones of road traffic victims to join a solidarity walk at the Savannah, followed by brunch and live entertainment – a touching acknowledgement of the resilience required in the face of loss.

This year’s tribute seamlessly blended solemnity with engagement, featuring a captivating Traffic Village showcasing various sponsors and entities, dedicated to providing an educational and entertaining experience for attendees of all ages.

As proud sponsors, Rosco Procom Ltd, authorised distributor of Mobil™ Lubricants, played a proactive role in creating awareness for safe driving during this day.

Participants at the Mobil™ station enthusiastically participated in a trivia activity, testing their knowledge of essential car safety aspects and emergency preparedness. This dynamic involvement reflected not only a commitment to road safety but also a genuine interest in fostering a safer, more connected driving culture in Trinidad.

With a substantial turnout, the vibrant atmosphere resonated with the collective dedication to safer roads, gathering strong support from families, friends, and those affected by road accidents. The event also extended acknowledgement of the resilience of emergency teams dealing with the aftermath of such.

As a reminder, Mobil™ aimed to spread the message that car maintenance is not solely about the vehicle’s health but is crucially about ensuring the safety of all road users.

Mobil™ message is clear: Road Safety starts with each individual.
